Indonesia and India have launched a joint initiative to develop Indonesia’s Saban port in Aceh province to improve maritime connectivity. The initiative is a part of the two countries’ ‘Shared Vision on Maritime Cooperation in Indo Pacific’, a collaborative endeavour envisaged during the recent visit of India’s PM Modi.
