Pakistan operationalises Three SEZs

Special Economic Zones in Faisalabad, Haripur (Hattar) and Karachi have become operational for production for last three months. It is planned that 3 more SEZs would be established in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a development and a management company – National Industrial Parks (NIP) -would develop the planned Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Islamabad.
