The US announces second round of tariffs on USD 200 Bln Chinese goods

The US has begun the process of imposing 10 percent additional tariff on USD 200 Bln of Chinese imports. This is in addition to America’s recent tariff imposition on USD 34 Bln Chinese goods. America will conduct hearings on the new list in late August, which means that the new tariffs could come into effect in September. China has vowed to retaliate.
