Shipping lines hike tariffs to offset fuel price spike, imports could cost more

Maersk as well as Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) have decided to add surcharge on freight costs to offset the rising fuel costs. Maersk will hike freight rates by 20 percent. Crude oil price at around USD 80 a barrel is at its highest since 2014.
