Boeing invests in drone start-up

The California, US-based delivery drone startup Matternet has raised USD 16 Mln from Boeing HorizonX Ventures, the aviation company’s venture arm. Matternet was recently selected as one of the many drone delivery companies by America’s Federal Aviation Administration as part of the latter’s Unmanned Aircraft System pilot program.
