OOCL pursues complete digital transformation of container shipping with Microsoft

Hong Kong-based boxshipping line Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has teamed up with Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) on an 18-month partnership to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) research to improve network operations. The partnership will train over 200 AI developers by mid-2019 and work on adaptation of new technologies including AI, the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain.
