China’s Macau could leverage technology to develop trade port in shallower water

China’s Macau city is looking to use technology to develop a trade port in its 85-sq km of territorial waters, even though the depth there is shallower than that of the water in Hong Kong. The central government of China granted Macau the demarcation of 85 square kilometres of territorial waters two years ago; the city has prepared a framework law for the Management of Maritime Waters recently.
