Iran’s Chabahar Port to commence interim operations

India will soon begin interim operations in Chabahar port project, even in the face of the United States’ plans to impose fresh sanctions on Iran. As per the MoU signed between India and Iran in 2016, India is to equip and operate two terminals in Chabahar port Phase-I on a 10-year lease.
