There is a growing sense of unease among the UK’s businesses over recent initiatives taken by EU’s shipping companies that bypass Britain. CLdN, a Luxembourg-based shipping company, is introducing two mega vessels running from Zeebrugge and Rotterdam to Dublin. And Irish Continental Group will boost its weekly capacity from 120 to 1,155 trucks between Dublin and the French port of Cherbourg coming summer.
