Europe’s exportable gasoline surplus continues to shrink owing to various factors such as the resurgent local demand, falling regional supply, a shrinking import demand and competition from other producers. Meanwhile, the Middle East has become more self-sufficient and hence will have more to export next year. All such developments will likely have a major impact on global trade flows in 2019.
