Japanese liner company ONE levies emergency bunker surcharges joining Big 3 shipping lines

ONE (Ocean Network Express), the Japanese container shipping company is the latest to impose an emergency bunker surcharge, joining Maersk, MSC and CMA CGM that imposed surcharges last week. The escalating fuel costs that have increased by more than 25 percent during 2018 prompted ONE to levy the surcharge.
